A few people know that Stanley Kubrick started his career as photographer before becoming a film-maker.
Today I've been to his exposition in Milan, where his pictures are shown in preview.
The exhibition is quite well organized; it takes place at Palazzo della Ragione, a beautiful palace in the city centre.
As he was working for the magazine Look, all the shootings are divided into theme areas.
The ones I preferred are about: the circus, and a poor boy called Mickey.
Mickey is a 12 y.o. shoeshine, living in the early 50's, working after school for a few money.
He is handsome and got lots of interests and duties as looking after his 5 younger brothers and taking care of the pigeons.
He reminded me of Oliver Twist.
The serie about the Circus is amazing.
It mainly shows circus workers during their trainings or during their spare time.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a wonderful image with a leopard puppy.
